This pen light comes with a single high-shine white LED that provides adequate lighting to journal your dreams in the dark. When writing your dreams down during the night, it is suggested by sleep researchers that you use a minimal light source to keep from waking yourself up too much, so that you do not have a hard time going back to sleep. This will also help prevent disturbing a sleep partner. The LED is located on a swivel that can be turned 360 degrees, so that it can be used for other purposes without the need to turn on any bright overhead lights. The switch is located on the side of the pen. A black neck strap is attached to the pen cap, but can be removed if so desired. The LED is powered by 3 LR44 batteries which can be easily replaced. Unscrew the clear plastic shaft of the pen to replace the ink cartridge. The product looks exactly as represented in the picture, except that the neck strap is colored black instead of gray. The item is brand new and arrives in unopened plastic packaging.
